Were crazy! We were at the OB office every week while they tried to pin point exactly how far along we were.
The Monday, following Thanksgiving week, {or November 29th, 2010} seemed like a perfect day to take a pregnancy test {at work I will add}. To me this was going to be reassurance that I was NOT pregnant and just missing periods as normal. Well, well, well, that is not exactly what happened when I took that FIRST test {yes the first of three that day}. A positive shot back at me so fast that I barely had time to stand up and zip my pants. Of course I knew that was incorrect so I was off to buy two more tests at lunch. Test two....Positive again. When was I going to catch a break! Test three....you know how this goes. Of course, Positive! Fine, three positives means I should probably call the doctors office immediately and let them know my last period was probably 10 weeks before then. Apparently that causes chaos at the office and you are to been seen immediately so an appointment was scheduled for Wednesday that week! Jimmy was about to be introduced to the wonderful world of the OBGYN.
Our first Ultrasound {December 7th, 2010} showed nothing but a tiny sac and after all the measurements were taken the tech said we were around 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. But even that ultrasound wasn't enough to convince the doctor that we were not 10 weeks along like she had thought.
